Navigating a new world of health

Health

Weber Shandwick’s health practice helps clients stay relevant in an ever-changing landscape. Backed in science, we support public health agencies, scientific and academic institutions, life science companies, NGOs, provider groups and payor organisations.

We have the global scope and diversity of talent to communicate across the healthcare spectrum – translating science to grab consumer attention.

We tackle big challenges. Whether it’s introducing a breakthrough medicine, representing a world-renowned public health institution or navigating the complexities of a pandemic-era employer, we deliver exceptional value.

We get noticed. Our data-driven programmes focus on the audiences and channels that matter most to our clients – and our integrated media strategies change perceptions and behaviours.

And we build relationships that last. Focused on transparency, two-way candor, senior accountability and regular feedback, we create long-term connections.

What we're known for

Healthcare is undergoing a radical transformation. Our understanding of changing dynamics enables us to help clients lead successfully in this new environment.

The Weber Shandwick Collective (TWSC): Women’s Health shapes healthier lives for women through pioneering work with health experts from across Weber Shandwick, United Minds, Flipside Health and That Lot working across policy and advocacy, health communications, corporate communications, employee engagement, digital innovation and design – with the aim of closing the gender gap in health communications and making progress towards women’s health equity.

The Women’s Health Indicator, developed by data analysts and behaviour experts to identify specific gaps in women’s healthcare by analysing and assessing data points measured across society, media, and policy.

Our unique clinical trial offering. To innovate and continue to meet patient demand, the pharmaceutical industry needs people to participate in clinical trials. Yet over 80% trials fail to recruit on time, nearly 40% of study sites under enrol and 30% of costly phase III trials terminate due to enrolment difficulties. This leads to spiralling R&D costs. We put patient communications at the heart of trial design and create tailored programmes to help our clients achieve successful outcomes with their clinical trials.
